Our Wine Immersion Day takes takes your team to the rugged beauty of the Ruta de las Vegas which runs along the Tagus River and takes in some breathtaking scenery, fascinating history, exquisite local gastronomy and some of the best wines in central Spain.

Accompanied by a local wine guide the team day starts with the smooth transfer to the region by coach and is then split into three parts:

1. Walking & Wine – a walk along the Tagus river to visit the winery situated along the bank and which extends some 500 acres of accessible vineyards. This is where we have our first hands on tasks for the teams as they are given concurrent tasks to complete to help the vines grow and prosper! Complete of course with a helping wine aperitiv & tapa to help with the outdoor work!
2. Winery Visit & Wine Tasting Challenge – We then go into the 19th century winery for a visit and explanation – which depending the time of the year includes the latest wine harvest which is either still in fermentation vats or in the barrels where we have a fun interactive wine tasting for the year´s offering. Teams are then set for the design of a label and make a presentation for the pricing and marketing approach to take.

1. Team Wine Lunch – and then a sit down sumptious Castilian 3 course lunch prepared on site or close by in the market town main square situated less than 10 minutes walk away and whether indoors or out ( weather depending) gives an eye opening glimpse into a rural world less so close to the beating heart of Spain.
