Few people know that Leonardo Da Vinci’s extraordinary work the Gioconda, known by its popular name of the Mona Lisa hangs in Madrid’s Prado Museum as well as in the Louvre.
According to the museum experts, “the two works were created simultaneously and are in fact parallel works painted at the same time as the Paris painting by Da Vinci’s pupil and under his supervision”.
