This is the most fun you will have with wine – ever!
Call My Wine Bluff is a hugely entertaining activity of wits, wine knowledge and intuition of teams as they take on other teams facing the devious “expert” and cheating wine panel.
Call My Wine Bluff is an opportunity to taste (and drink!) 6 wines in a competitive atmosphere
Based on the parlour game “Call My Bluff,” where you make statements that are believed or not and where you put your money where your mouth is!
What to Expect During the Game:
The panel is led by our resident wine team.
- Wines are poured from covered bottles so there is no opportunity of seeing the label.
- The panel give an amusing, informative and highly convincing description of the wine.
- In each round there are 3 wines – of which two of the descriptions are utterly false.
- Teams need to work (and taste) together to decide which is the correct one.
- Points are awarded for guessing the correct wine and bonus points can be picked up for guessing the retail price.
As the rounds progress the teams – by this time enjoying the effect of the wine – are no longer basing their decisions on cold logic or sound knowledge. Instead they are beginning to realise how difficult it can be to identify the right wine.
A great fun, and wine-informative event that the whole team will be talking about for years to come! Optional tapas or dinner menus can also be included to make the evening a very special team event.
