OLE! Flamenco Masterclass
We offer you a unique and fun insight into the world of flamenco with a private masterclass and team event to put together an inspirational flamenco performance.
You will learn the beginner steps for this dance floor of foot, arm movement choreography with a leading performer and teacher from the school.
This 1.5 hour workshop is lead by professionals from the world of Flamenco.
Listen, touch, dance, understand, enjoy… allow yourself to go with the flamenco’s rhythms and share musical skills in a relaxed environment. The aim is for everybody to construct a flamenco song by contributing interactively in its creation.
Participants will be divided into groups and under the direction of our flamenco teachers they will start to coordinate and create the beat of Buleria, one of the happiest rhythms of flamenco.
Teams will be given the opportunity to immerse themselves into the world of flamenco pumping boxes, djembes, castanets, shakers, heels and body percussion.
Once a certain level of synchronization has been achieved, teachers will work with the teams to be able to deliver their own “Cierre” (flamenco’s rhythm more dynamic) before getting ready for the team show!
Add Light Refreshments
The activity is suitable for all levels, from those with no prior knowledge of Flamenco to those who have a base from which to work with. All the necessary props and materials are provided during the session and it is possible to include light refreshments after the performance.
